Phil Foden has won the 2023/24 PFA Young Player of the Year award.
This award recognizes Manchester City’s star’s outstanding performances and potential during the last season.
This was revealed in an announcement posted on Tuesday by the Professional Footballers Association X account, #PFA.
Manchester City celebrated a PFA Player of the Year double, with Foden and Bunny Shaw winning the men’s and women’s trophies for the 2023-24 season.
Foden, 24, scored 19 goals and assisted eight times, helping City win their fourth consecutive Premier League title under Pep Guardiola.
His competition included previous year’s champion, Erling Haaland, as well as Cole Palmer, Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa, Martin Ødegaard of Arsenal, and teammate Rodri.
