Real Madrid has secured a 3-1 victory over Stuttgart, with Kylian Mbappe scoring his first Champions League goal.

Mbappe who has scored five goals in seven appearances across all competitions, opened the scoring in the second half.

Speaking to Movistar, he expressed his happiness with his performance and the confidence he has gained. He said the Champions League game has been challenging, but the team won at home, and a quick wins is what they needed to determine their qualification chances.

In his words: “I know I can do more, each game I feel better and now I’m scoring goals, and I’m happy here.

“(The game was) hard, but it’s the Champions League — it’s always difficult, but we won at home, we won the first game.

“What we know is that the Champions League has changed and it’s important to win quickly to see if we can qualify quickly or not”.

Despite Stuttgart’s impressive efforts, Carlo Ancelotti’s team managed to secure the three points. With Antonio Rudiger scoring in the 83rd minute, and Deniz Undav levelled the score shortly after.

Coach Ancelotti emphasized the importance of the club’s win, despite suffering at the start of the season due to numerous duels lost.

“We suffered at the start because we lost a lot of duels… the important thing was to win and we won, so everything’s good.

“You always have to fight at the start of the season, when you aren’t at your best.” He said.
