The newly elected President of the United States of America (USA), Donald Trump has appointed Elon Musk, CEO of Space X and Vivek Ramaswamy to lead the US Department of Government Efficiency.
Edum News reports that the Department of Government efficiency is saddled with the responsibility of dismantling Government Bureaucracy, cutting excess regulation, wasteful expenditures, and restructure federal agencies.
Speaking on their appointment, Trump noted that he looks forward to Elon and Vivek making changes to the Federal Bureaucracy with an eye on efficiency and, at the same time, making life better for all Americans to drive out the massive waste and fraud that exists throughout the US annual $6.5 Trillion Dollars of Government Spending.
In his press statement, Trump said, “A smaller Government, with more efficiency and less bureaucracy, will be the perfect gift to America on the 250th Anniversary of The Declaration of Independence.”
On his part, Elon Musk said, “This will send shockwaves through the system, and anyone involved in Government waste, which is a lot of people.”
Also, Ramaswamy reposted Trump’s announcement on social media saying “we will not go gently.”
