Tobi Amusan, a World record holder in the women’s 100m hurdles, has announced her forthcoming documentary titled ‘Homecoming,’ which is aimed at telling her athletic story, Edum news reports.
The Athlete announced the trailer for the documentary through content studio, ATHLST.
“Over the past couple of years, I’ve been pouring my heart into a project that shares my journey—the highs, struggles, and everything in between.
“This is your opportunity to be part of something special,” She wrote via X.
The 2:15s trailer featured Amusan’s world record race in Oregon in 2022, as well as her controversial suspension by the Athletics Integrity Unit in 2023 before she was later cleared by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Tobi Amusan is the current world record holder in the women’s 100m hurdles with a time of 12.12s, which she set at the 2022 women’s 100m hurdles semi-final in Eugene, Oregon.
The champion ran another blazing 12.06s in the final, but it didn’t stand due to the tailwind.
She is the current Commonwealth and African champion in the 100m hurdles, as well as the meet record holder in those two competitions and She has also won three Diamond League titles in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
