Terrorists slaughter 5, abduct 15 farmers in Borno

No fewer than five people were slaughtered by Boko haram terrorists, at Ngoshe Community in Gwoza Local Government area of Borno State.

Edum news reports that the attack occurred while the farmers were working on their farms in the evening of Independence Day celebration.

15 farmers, including children, women, young and elderly were victims but five of them have been slaughtered, in addition to the killing of a Civilian Joint Task Force, CJTF, member, Jubril Zarana, who actively participated with security agents to foil the attack.

The attackers have released three women captives, while others are still being held hostage.
