Chiamaka Nnadozie, the Super Falcons’ goalkeeper, led Paris FC to an 8-0 victory over Le Havre in the French Première Ligue on Sunday afternoon.
Just a few days before, Nnadozie and her Paris FC colleagues were eliminated from the UEFA Women’s Champions League by Manchester City. Paris FC fell 5-0 at home and 3-0 in Manchester, finishing with an 8-0 aggregate defeat.
However, the French team immediately recovered and turned their attention to the league. At Stade Charléty in Paris, Paris FC overpowered Le Havre with four goals from Clara Matéo and two apiece from Maëlle Garbino and Julie Dufour. This was Paris FC’s largest league win since joining the Première Ligue in 2017.
Nnadozie has also played in significant games for Paris FC, including a 9-0 win over Lorient in the Coupe de France Féminine in January 2022 and a 6-0 victory against First Vienna in this season’s Women’s Champions League.
