South Africa is set to host the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in January 2025.
SCORENigeria reports that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has awarded South Africa the right to host the competition.
Aside the 1996, this would be the county’s second time hosting the competition after hosting it 13 years ago, in 2013 that saw Nigeria win the competition, beating Senegal in the final.
This time around, the Flying Eagles must have to first advance from the WAFU B qualification competition, which Togo will host next month to be able to be represent country in South Africa come 2025.
