Saudi Arabia Congratulates Nigeria On 64th Independence Anniversary

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has extended their warm congratulations to President Bola Tinubu on the occasion of Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day anniversary.

In a former message by the Saudi Arabian embassy in Nigeria, the country expressed its best wishes for progress and prosperity for the government and people of the black nation.

The statement also quoted King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressing their best wishes for the Nigerian leader’s health and happiness, as well as their hopes for Nigeria’s ongoing development.

“We extend our heartfelt congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and we wish him good health, as well as continuous progress and prosperity for the government and people of Nigeria,” the message read.

The congratulatory message further cements the diplomatic ties between Saudi Arabia and Nigeria, which have flourished over the years.

The Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman highlighted the importance of fostering a strong international relations, adding that the Kingdom remains committed to supporting Nigeria’s growth on the global stage.

“Our relationship with Nigeria is built on mutual respect and a shared vision for development, and we look forward to further collaboration in the future,” the Crown Prince noted.

“Nigeria, which gained independence on October 1, 1960, is celebrating its 64th anniversary this year.

“The occasion marks a significant moment for the nation as it continues to build on its rich history and pursue economic and social progress,” the statement added.
