Paul Okoye of the then PSquare band who is now popularly known as Rudeboy has accused his twin brother, Peter Okoye, aka, Mr P of stealing his song.
Rudeboy also accused the producer of the song of stealing from him to give his brother to sing.
Edum News reports that the singer made the allegation after his twin brother announced the release of his new single ‘Winning’ on social media.
Reacting to his brother’s announcement, Rudeboy claimed that the song is part of the singles in the album he is planning to release next year.
In a post on his official Instagram page on Friday, Rudeboy also released snippets of the same song.
His post reads, “Song title: Winning. Written and sang by Rudeboy. Produced by same producer. Now how come? Now am I supposed to release another version? Mr Producer, your case is for another day.
“Just a simple thing: Bring 6 songs, let me bring 6 songs. I Submitted 6 songs to the so-called management. Why re-singing my own song? word for word. Song that was supposed to be in my album next year, June.”
However , Mr P is yet to respond to the allegation but have gone ahead to release the official video for the song.
