Paris Court Sentence Paul Pogba’s Brother To Three Years In Prison Over Extortion

A Paris Court has sentenced Mathias Pogba, brother to France Midfielder, Paul Pogba fo three years in prison over extortion.

Edum News reports that Mathias was found guilty and sentenced by the court today (Thursday).

Giving details on his sentence, the court revealed that Mathias Pogba will serve his one-year sentence with an electronic bracelet rather than behind bars.

The court also fined Pogba’s brother 20,000 euros for participating in the attempted extortion of 13 million euros ($13.5 million) from Pogba in 2022 andd for putting pressure on the player, his family and his business contacts to obtain the payment.

Mathias alongside five others had held Pogba hostage insisting that money be paid them for his release.
