The owner of Agidigbo FM, Oriyomi Hamzat is currently receiving medical attention after being overwhelmed by the outcome of Queen Naomi’s charity event in Ibadan.
Edum News reports that the stampede which claimed the lives of 35 children happened yesterday (Wednesday) in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Hamzat, was present at the event which was organized at Islamic High School, Bashorun.
The party, co-organized by Queen Naomi Silekunola, the ex-wife of the Ooni of Ife, and promoted heavily by Agidigbo FM, ended in chaos when an overcrowded venue led to a fatal stampede.
Speaking on the state of his health, a source said, “He was truly at the event, but when the stampede began, and children started collapsing, he couldn’t bear the sight. He also fell and had to be rushed to the hospital.”
