Nigerian music director and cinematographer, ThankGod Omori Smith, popularly as TG Omiri, has announced that he will be taking a break but hopes to make a comeback to the big screen again come 2025.
The public figure who recently made public his struggles with his health and how he had undergone an unsuccessful kidney transplant after his only brother donated one of his kidneys to him in August 2024.
Speaking via tweets through his official X handle he emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive mindset amidst illness.
He shared a photo of himself and promised to return in 2025, stating that pain has no power over him and that the mind over matter prevails.
He wrote: “It’s mind over matter. If the mind is defeated, it’s only a matter of time before the body falls.
“Pain has no power over me.
“I will be back in 2025. Stay in love!.”
