Kemi Badenoch, the leader of the United Kingdom (UK) Conservative Party has revealed that she no longer believes in God.
Edum News reports that the British-Nigerian leader who has been in the news in recent times following her jabs about Nigeria and Vice President Kashim Shettima’s response to her made the revelation about her faith a podcast by the Free Press editor Bari Weiss, on Friday.
According to her, though she is not an atheist, she does not believe in God.
She further noted that she identifies as agnostic and as a “cultural Christian.”
She said, “I don’t believe in God anymore. But I am not an atheist, I am agnostic. I used to believe in God very much but now I describe myself as a cultural Christian.
“I don’t think it matters if people believe in God or not. What matters is what they do with the belief or the lack of it.”
