Olalekan Jacob Ponle, better known as Mr. Woodberry and also a partner to Hushpuppi has sent stringent warning to Nigerians after being released from the FBI for money laundering.
Remember that on May 29, 2024, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) released the Notorious Internet Fraudster.
Mr. Woodberry was detained in Dubai on June 10, 2020, alongside his close colleague Ramon Hushpuppi Abbas, who is currently serving an 11-year sentence for a similar fraud act.
In April 2023, Woodberry, a close colleague of Hushpuppi, pled guilty to online fraud and agreed to forfeit his sumptuous Dubai possessions and pay $8 million (N6 billion) in restitution to victims.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) predicted that Hushpuppi’s partner, Mr. Woodberry, may be released in July 2023 after selling his 152 bitcoins for N3.6 billion.
On August 9, 2024, Woodberry finally confirmed to everyone that he had been released by the FBI, despite the fact that many people are skeptical of his release.
Woodberry finally breaks the silence in a post uploaded in the insta-stories part of his official Instagram profile. According to Woodberry, he has a strong faith in God, and as a result, he has no flaws. He stated: “God is my source, I will lack nothing.”
