Former Nigeria’s Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen mourns as she looses her only son, Richard to the cold hands of death.
The deceased, Richard Adamu Tallen reportedly passed on at the intensive care unit of the Cedar Crest Hospital, Abuja where he was placed on oxygen.
According to his family, he was admitted to the hospital on Friday evening for treatment of a yet to be disclosed illness.
The late Richard Adamu Tallen family and his his alma mater, the Vom Old Boys’ Association (VOBA) confirmed his death in a statement and a social media post respectively on Sunday.
Richard Adamu reportedly died in Abuja after a brief illness.
“On a very sad note, we regret to announce the sudden passing of our member, Mr Richard Adamu Tallen.
“Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord, may perpetual light shine upon him.
“May the soul of Richard and all departed VOBA members RIP. Amen,” the group posted on Facebook on Sunday afternoon.
