EPL: Haaland sets to unsit De Bruyne as highest-paid player

Erling Haaland, is ready to unsit his teammate Kevin De Bruyne as the Premier League’s highest-paid player.

According to Marca, the Manchester City striker is about to sign a new contract with the club.

With an estimated weekly salary of £425,000, De Bruyne is now the highest paid player in the English Premier League.

Haaland whose current base pay of £375,000 per week,already ranks him among the highest paid players in the club.


His contract, however, is structured with a number of performance-related bonuses that may raise his weekly pay above £85,000. But the new contract may bring in €24 million, or £20.5 million or $27 million net, a season.
