Janice Combs, the mother of rap mogul, Sean Combs, popularly known as P Diddy, has defended her son on the allegations levied against him, Edum News reports.
Janice, while speaking to BBC on Monday, noted that he wasn’t given a fair trial to hear his side of the many allegations against him.
She stated that though the rapper made mistakes in the past, he is not the monster they have painted him to be.
According to her, it is heartbreaking for her to see the world turn against Diddy over what she described as lies and false accusations.
“It is heartbreaking to see my son judged not for the truth, but for a narrative created out of lies.
“It is truly agonising to watch the world turn against my son so quickly and easily over lies and misconceptions, without ever hearing his side or affording him the opportunity to present his side,” she stated.
Recall that Diddy was arrested on the 16th of September 2024 by federal agents in New York after facing months of civil lawsuits alleging sex trafficking, sexual abuse and rape.
The rapper and owner of record label, Bad Boy Records who was denied bail twice, is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn.
The three major charges against Diddy in the legal indictment are racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Federal prosecutors in an indictment, accused Diddy and his associates of coercing and abusing women to fulfil his sexual desires, including forcing victims into recorded sexual activities, which he allegedly called “Freak Outs.”
