A Magistrate Court in Ado-Ekiti has ordered the remand of Christopher Israel 42, for allegedly raping his 22 year old daughter, Edum News Reports.
Israel was said to have committed the offence on Sept 21 in Ado-Ekiti.
He was charged by the police for rape and assault.
According to the prosecutor, Insp Olubu Apata, Israel raped his daughter when she went to visit him and also inflicted injuries on her while she was struggling.
Apata urged that Israel be remanded in the corrections centre in Ado Ekiti, pending legal advice from the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The magistrate adjourned the case until Nov.6 for mention.
