A national youth service corps (NYSC) member deployed to Kebbi state, Tayachibiyacha Ebal has slumped and died at Dakin Gari NYSC orientation camp, Edum News reports.
According to reports, the corps member was immediately rushed to the camp clinic for medical attention, after which she was transferred to the Federal Medical Centre Birnin Kebbi for advanced medical attention.
She was unfortunately declared dead by doctors at the Federal Medical center after efforts made by doctors to resuscitate her failed.
Confirming her tragic demise, the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Kebbi State, Alhaji Muhammad Fingila told newsmen in Birnin Kebbi, that her remains have been sent to Adamawa, her home state.
He further described the incident as unfortunate while sympathizing her family on behalf of the Kebbi government.
