A popular actor and musician Angela Okorie has sparked controversy with her intervention on the ongoing public conflict between Apostle Suleman and fellow actress Halima Abubakar.
Halima Abubakar in a recent post extended a sincere apology to Apostle Suleman, retracting her previous false accusations and seeking forgiveness for the harm caused to his reputation and ministry.
In response to Halima’s apology, Apostle Suleiman highlighted that while forgiveness is essential, it does not imply that one should forget past grievances.
The clergyman in his Post on X, wrote: “You all stop calling my phone. Forgiveness is not memory loss”.
While reacting to Halima’s apology, Angela Okorie took to Instagram to share Apostle Suleman’s remarks, referring to him as “father” and noting that his detractors have yet to offer their apologies. She voiced her support for him, praying for the exposure of his adversaries.
In her words, “Dem never start to apologize. God will continue to expose them.”
This intervention by Angela has drawn criticism from social media users, who have accused her of intruding into the matter.
