Wellington Koo,Taiwan’s defense minister, has accused China of being the “number one country conducting daily cyberattacks” on Taiwan and debunked claims that Taipei-backed hackers are targeting Beijing.

The defense minister dismissed China’s claim that a shadowy group was conducting cyberattacks against Beijing, stating that China is the number one country conducting daily cyberattacks against Taiwan and countries with similar values.

Taiwanese authorities claim that it’s government organizations face an estimated five million cyberattacks each day, which Tech faint companies like Microsoft have identified as tactics used by Chinese state-sponsored groups.

Also, a group known only as “Anonymous 64” was charged by the national security ministry with trying to take over key websites, outdoor electronic billboards, and network television.

They also broadcast”content that denigrates” China and they were not involved but believes the Chinese are the initiators.

Koo further stated that Taiwan’s military only focus is protecting citizens and defending the country’s free and democratic life.”

The relationship between the two nations in recent years has gotten bad as China believes the sovereign nation as part of its territory, and has since intensified its comments about “unification” as “inevitable.”.
