The Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) has announced that notorious Boko Haram terrorist, Bochu Abacha has finally surrendered to troops in Borno State’s Kukawa Local Government Area.
According to Chief Military Information Officer Lt. Col. Olaniyi Osaba in a statement in Maiduguri on Saturday, Abacha while surrendering also handed over one AK-47 gun, a magazine loaded with 11 rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition, a mobile phone, an Airtel Sim card, and N32,500.
Osaba also stated that the notorious gang member was currently offering crucial information to the investigators.
The colonial further revealed that Abacha, has admitted to participating in multiple operations along the Mongunu-Baga axis, and he credits his surrender to MNJTF’s intense operations and the decline of his interest in the Boko Haram cause.
