Hoodlums who had invaded the ongoing hardship demonstration across the nation that started on Thursday in Kaduna state, have set fire to a portion of the Kaduna State Transport Law Authority’s (KASTLEA) building and took away some of the agency’s valuables.

They also vandalized the headquarters of the Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency (KADIPA).

According to reports, the attack on government offices occurred at the same time that #EndBadGovernance demonstrators marched through the streets to protest the country’s hardship and hunger.

The attack and looting was confirmed by Governor Uba Sani’s social media aide, Abdalla Yunus, in a post on X.

While condemning the action, Yunus noted that security agencies are already carrying out investigations to bring the perpetrators to book.
