Aiyedatiwa felicitates APC over Senator Okpebholo’s victory in Edo

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has felicitated the All Progressives Congress (APC) on their victory in Saturday’s governorship election in Edo State.

Aiyedatiwa, the APC’s chairman of the Election Planning and Strategy Committee in the Edo election, also congratulated Senator Monday Okpebholo, the party’s candidate for governor, and Hon. Dennis Idahosa, his running mate, on becoming Edo State’s new governor and deputy governor, respectively.

This was said in a statement made in the state capital of Akure by his chief press secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan.

The governor commended the people of Edo State for entrusting their governance to the APC.

Aiyedatiwa stated, “I want to congratulate our party, the APC, Senator Okpebholo, and Hon. Idahosa on their well-deserved victory in the recently concluded governorship election in Edo State. The governor commended the people of Edo State for entrusting their governance to the APC.

Aiyedatiwa praised the people of Edo for their peaceful conduct before, during, and after the election, and expressed confidence in Senator Okpebholo’s vision to change the face of governance in the state by implementing progressive policies and programs that will improve the lives of Edo residents.
