The National Grid on Wednesday suffered yet another collapse, making it the 12th time it is collapsing in 2024, Edum News reports.
The fresh collapse was made public by the Nigerian National Grid in a tweet via its official handle on X on Wednesday.
The Nigerian National Grid however revealed that work is ongoing to restore the collapsed grid.
“The major grid setback has occurred and the restoration is to commence,” the tweet reads.
The development has left Nigerians in anger as many are condemning the incessant collapse of the grid, calling for a permanent solution to the issues.
It is worth to note that since January 2024 till date, the grid has collapsed 11 times.
