Tesla Cars CEO, Elon Musk has revealed that the Democrats Candidate in the US 2024 election, Kamala Harris had more billionaires supporting her compared to the newly elected President of the United States of America (USA), Donald Trump.
Edum News reports that, the billionaire businessman further noted that Kamala raised almost 50% more money compared to Trump.
He however stated that she didn’t win the election despite having more money and the support of several billionaires because Americans showed that elections are not just a function of money.
Elon Musk made the remark while reacting to a post on X which gave the breakdown of the billionaires backing Trump to be 52 while Kamala had a whooping 83.
The owner of X post reads, “Worth noting that far more “billionaires” backed Harris than Trump and she raised almost 50% more money. Nonetheless, America showed that elections aren’t just a function of money and gave Trump a resounding victory.”
