Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, the founder of the Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry in Warri, Delta State, has shown his unwavering adherence to the concepts of love and forgiveness by declaring that he has pardoned the contentious social media activist known as VeryDarkMan (VDM).
Due to VDM’s accusations against his church and actions on social media, Fufeyin filed a N1 billion lawsuit against the latter.
But on Sunday, Prophet Fufeyin said that he had forgiven VDM, saying “Verydarkman, I, Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, offer you forgiveness. I’m
abandoning the court case against you. I forgive you in accordance with Jesus’ teachings, which advocated for peace and disciplined sinners.
“May you learn from your mistakes and walk in righteousness from now on, my son,”
This act of reconciliation was more than just words; it was a deeply symbolic moment that reflected the Prophet’s faith in the power of redemption and the significance of healing old wounds.
The blowback from the prophet’s lawsuit against social media influencer VDM has caused social media to erupt, with many speculating that the prophet’s offer of an olive branch could settle the conflict.
